A Note to our California Customers, and Giving Thanks

First and foremost, we would like to extend our sympathies to our customers in the San Diego and Los Angeles area who were affected by last month's wildfires. We wish you all a speedy recovery process as you deal with the aftermath of this terrible natural disaster.

As we begin the busy holiday season, we take the time to be thankful for what we all have. Despite the challenges we all face in today's economy, we continue to work together to provide our customers with our best service. Thank you for the feedback you have given us to help improve our products, and thank you for your continued business.

Back-Up Strategies

Last month's fires remind us how important it is to have a good back-up plan in place. Many of our customers use an automated back-up system, but even the best systems require your involvement to make sure you don't lose your data in the event of unexpected disasters.

Here at ASCI, we have a different back-up tape for every day of the week. This allows us to recover data for up to 5 days ago. In addition, we have an additional set of tapes that we use once a week and that are kept off-site. Four different ASCI employees rotate these back-ups and keep them at their homes.

When faced with the possibility of a fire or hurricane, we know that our data is maintained in our office as well as in the homes of these employees.

Take some time to discuss your back-up system as well as the location of your tapes to make sure you are prepared for any type of situation.

Happy Thanksgiving

Our office will be closed on November 22-23 to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Another Message about 5106 Updates

Please refer to ABI's Administrative Message 07-0248 regarding the submission of 5106 updates. With the transition from ACS to ACE, there are new specifications as to how information should be submitted. As described in the message, Apartment and Suite numbers must be submitted in Line 2 of the mailing address, using APT and STE as abbreviations. This is a temporary requirement until they are able to resolve this issue.
