10+2 Update: Coming Soon

We are pleased to report that we have made several improvements to our 10+2 program. This release will be ready next week and we will begin contacting our ISF users to perform this quick update for you. For those of you who have been requesting this release, there was a delay in getting this out because of a change to CBP allowing more than one ISF transaction to be sent for each Bill of Lading. Those programs should be ready shortly and we will begin contacting you to install them.

Highlights of the upcoming changes include:

  • ISF Options and Interfaces: Will let you define default values and preferences for ISF data entry
  • Commercial Entities File Maintenance: You will now be able to transfer your entire customer file directly into your commercial entities file to save time setting up your ISF data
  • Quick Entry/ISF: Complete your ISF directly from the the Quick Entry program.
  • Commercial Entites window: Redesigned for easier data entry
  • Print ABI Reports: ABI responses will now print the ISF transaction number when the transaction is accepted.

As always, we are grateful to our customers for providing valuable feedback to help us
improve our software. We will keep you posted as to any other upcoming changes with ISF.

Oman and Peru: GSP updates

We are currently testing our program changes for the Oman and Peru GSP updates. As of 3/5/09, however, CBP is not ready to receive this GSP information and we cannot implement the program until they are ready. We will send out any news as soon as we receive it.

Air In-Bond Delayed

CBP sent an e-mail on February 28 reporting that the Air In-Bond program will not be ready until late Spring 2009.

Stay tuned for updates!

Lacey Act Update

Our programming staff is currently working on implementing the program changes to collect Lacey Act data. This will be required from importers of most solid wood products, such as lumber and carpentry and will be effective April 1, 2009. However, ACS is not ready to receive this data yet, and implementation of the program may be delayed. We will notify you as soon as these changes are ready.
