Release 7.05: Import, ABI and Accounts Payable

Many of you have received the Lacey Act changes and Release 7.05 of the ASCI software. We are currently installing this for our customers on an as-needed basis, but will begin contacting any remaining customers soon to update their systems. As we explained in the last e-mail, this release includes changes for the Lacey Act, Peru & Oman FTA, 5106 Update/ACE changes, and more. Users who have Accounts Payable will also receive an update that includes helpful new features.

Please note that it is important to make sure you have a back-up of your data files before installing the release. If you are not currently backing up your data on a regular basis, please be sure you have done a back-up before we install the release. If you need assistance in setting up a back-up procedures for your company, let us know. Our IT department can help you get that started.

If you have Accounts Payable, you also need to be sure to have posted all your current transactions and checks before we install the release.

The May 18 date for updating the ISF was also postponed by CBP and should be ready some time in late June. This upgrade will include enhancements to the ISF programs as well as changes in the data being requested by ABI. We will let you know when this is available.
