Tariff Update 0903

CBP sent out a notification on July 15 regarding tariff update 0903. This update contains various changes as they relate to the Presidential Proclamation 8394 regarding GSP adjustments. Please note this tariff update is effective August 7 so you must wait until that date to do the update.

To query the latest tariff information, go to ABI Procedures / Queries / Reference Files. Select the Harmonized Tariff Update option, and enter 0903 for the Update #.

Sending us a Fax?

ASCI has a new faxing system in place which sends any faxes received directly to our desktops via e-mail. In order to better serve you, we kindly request that you indicate to whom your fax is being sent. It is also best if you speak to someone in support before sending a fax so we can initiate the call for you.

 

Release 7.05

If you still have not received the latest ASCI release, please give us a call so that we may update your system.

This release includes changes for Lacey Act requirements, updates to ISF processing, and changes for Accounts Payable.

Changes in Software VPN Settings - CSMS # 09-000278

CBP recently sent out an e-mail regarding changes to settings for users who connect to the CBP Trade VPN using a dynamic software VPN client. These changes must be made before December 31, 2009.

We are currently working with our client rep to ensure that our customers are in full compliance by that date, and will let you know what changes will need to be made in the near future. Stay tuned for details!
