Another year has gone by, and as always we want to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy and productive holiday season.

There is a lot going on this December, including the Software VPN change and the End-of-Year Procedures for Accounting and Import/ABI.

Please take a few minutes to read this newsletter and make sure your system is up to date!

After Hours Support Reminder

ASCI offers after-hours support outside of our working hours of 8:30am to 6:30 pm EST Monday through Friday, excluding office closings that are announced in our newsletter.

If you would like to sign up for this service, please call us. There is no charge to register but calls placed to our after-hours phone are subject to an additional charge per issue, per call.

VPN Updates

We announced an important VPN update in last month's newsletter . If you haven't called us yet, please do so soon to avoid downtime with ABI on or after January 1.

End-of-Year Instructions and Reminders

Import/ABI:
As of December 3, ABI has not announced their end-of-year tariff updates, so be on the look-out for an e-mail from them. If you don't want to perform these updates manually, you can purchase the latest file from ASCI for $60 once they are implemented.

If you choose to perform the 2010 Tariff Updates manually, make sure you create the Last-Year Tariff file before sending the update! For detailed instructions, click here: http://www.asciofmiami.com/eoy-import-2009.pdf.*

Attention E-ASCI Customers: You are responsible for updating your own tariff file so please make sure to follow these instructions.

Accounting:
If your fiscal year is the same as the calendar year, then it's time to close out the year. For instructions, click here.*

Our office will close at noon on Thursday, December 24th, and will re-open on Monday, December 28th.
