The Automated Protest Procedures application was designed to facilitate the creation and electronic transmission of protests, provisions and interventions. Our Protest Procedures are fully integrated with Import & ABI Procedures, but can also run independently a stand-alone application. You may electronically perform requests such as:

Application for Further Review under CFR 174.23

Review of Application for Further Review Denial under Section 515

Withdraw protest/claim/intervention

With Protest Procedures, you can create and transmit

Protests against decisions of the Customs Service under 19 U.S.C. 1514
Petitions for refunds of Customs duties or corrections of errors requiring reliquidation pursuant to 19 U.S.C. 1520(c) and (d)
Interventions: In an importer's protest by an exporter or producer of merchandise from a country that is a party to the North American Free Trade Agreement under Section 181.115 of the Customer Regulations
